It all started with a poem…About a fish.

My interest in storytelling began when I was six. I remember sitting under a tree with my grandmother as she helped me write my first poem—a haiku about my fish. As I got older, that spark of creativity grew into a passion for writing, which eventually led me to pursue marketing and communications as a career.

Over the years, I’ve worked for start-ups, tech companies, and marketing agencies, specializing in full-funnel content marketing strategy, writing, SEO, sales enablement, digital public relations, project management, and customer experience.

Having lived in four major cities across two continents, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with clients across a variety of industries, including IT services, eCommerce SaaS, fintech, spatial analysis, digital creator, food & beverage, and professional services. Regardless of the industry, my goal is always the same: to help businesses grow by delivering impactful, data-driven content that resonates with their audience and drives conversions.

Back in the day, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Communication from Western Carolina University.

While both going to school and working full-time, I somehow managed to be in the Honors College, serve as Vice President of WCU’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, go hiking frequently, and even help out with some photoshoots for the marketing department… Which I found out are still being used in the College of Business’ ad materials today. LOL.
